Debra is a beauty and fashion industry veteran, career-long marketer and the founder and CEO of her 11-year-old consulting company that provides product development, marketing and business development services to beauty brands and B2B suppliers.
A problem solver and a connector, Debra provides real solutions to beauty clients. She brings skillfulness and experience to every aspect of the beauty business and to the company’s growing client base.
Debra has worked on both the brand side and the supplier side in the industry, in senior corporate roles and as a consultant. She is uniquely positioned to understand the evolving product needs of the industry and help B2B manufacturers to better serve their brand clients. Debra has advised beauty industry suppliers on new business development; results include opening new accounts and honing key product capabilities and outreach strategies.
Debra was VP marketing & product development at Cosmolab, a US private label manufacturer of cosmetic pencils and other color cosmetics, for seven years. She helped raise the profile and service level for the company and was instrumental in maintaining key customers during the sale of the company at auction, which sold to Schwan Cosmetics in 2010.
At Unilever/Elizabeth Arden, Debra held senior marketing roles over an eight-year span on Elizabeth Arden color & skincare, Erno Laszlo skincare and fragrances including Elizabeth Arden Red Door, Chloe, Lagerfeld, and Elizabeth Taylor’s White Diamonds. She was VP/general manager for licensed luxury fragrance brands and was director of merchandising & promotion for 13 fragrance brands.
